It smells excellent and never leaves a residue on your hair. It's a strong hold that leaves your hair soft to the touch. I used to use the Jack Black clay... but this is a better product and I haven't looked back since making the switch. One tub lasts two months if you have short hair.
This is the best thing you can put on your hair. The other products I've tried so far leave your hair very damaged after repeated use. I use this every day and my hair is still in very good condition. If you don't touch your hair too much, it'll keep its hold. Has a herbal smell of which I'm not a big fan, but it doesn't bother me either, and people seem to like, so it doesn't throw any shadow over the great qualities of the product.
Ive tried a bunch of different pastes and clays and this is one of the better ones. Does well on its own even on shorter thinner hair.
Growing up I used gel to keep my hair slick back, but this right here, you don't even need alot of it just a little bit on your finger, rub it in, & just practically play with your hair. It has a really nice smell, leaves my hair still slick back but this leaves my hair soft instead of my hair bring hard from the gel. It's best to use with your hair being a little wet. But overall best hair product I've ever used
